You are invited to celebrate St. George’s Day in classic English style this April, all while raising money for a vital local cause.
On Sunday, April 26th, St Phillips Lodge will be throwing open the doors of the Knowle Masonic Rooms to host a special charity Afternoon Tea.
The event, which runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, promises a delightful afternoon of traditional treats and community spirit. For £30 per person, guests will be served a classic spread including a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and freshly baked scones. To toast the occasion, the ticket price also includes a celebratory glass of Prosecco.
Beyond the tea and pastries, the event serves a much deeper community purpose. The Lodge has announced that 100% of the funds raised will go directly in aid of the Bradby Club. The proceeds will be specifically targeted to help young carers—children and teenagers who take on significant, often unseen, responsibilities caring for family members at home.
Organizers are encouraging locals to book early, as the combination of a St. George’s Day celebration and a great charitable cause is expected to draw a strong crowd.
