A first for Warwickshire?
by Simon Grove
At the recent meeting of the Lodge of Unity, one of the senior members was seen to be sporting a rather unusual tie. What was it and where had it come from?
You will hopefully recall that last year saw Grand Lodge announce a competition to design a new tie that could be worn at Craft and Royal Arch meetings. The aim was to reinforce the indissoluble link between the Craft and the Royal Arch with the catch line of ‘One Journey, One Organisation, One Tie’. Well, this is the winning design and it was perhaps apposite that a tie intended to show the unity enjoyed by such august institutions would make its Warwickshire debut at the Lodge of Unity!
They can be purchased from the shop at Freemasons’ Hall – click here for more details. Unsurprisingly, they have obviously been selling like hot cakes and they are currently out or stock! No doubt more are being produced so why not add a little more colour to your tie rack and follow Worshipful Brother Derek’s fine example.
