National Campaign Builds on Warwickshire’s Digital Success
A new national digital marketing campaign is now under way, helping more people discover what modern Freemasonry offers and how they can become involved.
Organised and funded by the United Grand Lodge of England’s Membership and Communications Team, the campaign runs from 9 September until 6 December 2026. It is the second phase of the National Digital Marketing Campaign this year and follows the successful campaign undertaken earlier in 2026.
The campaign features a range of advertisements designed to appeal to different demographics and audiences. Using a combination of still images and video, the advertisements will introduce Freemasonry to people across the country, explain more about its values and provide a straightforward way for those interested in joining to make an enquiry.
Tracking systems will ensure that enquiries generated by the national campaign are passed to the appropriate Province for local follow-up.
The national campaign complements Warwickshire Freemasons’ own continuing digital marketing programme, which has already generated over 5,000 enquiries from people interested in finding out more about Freemasonry in Warwickshire.
Warwickshire’s campaign uses targeted digital advertising to reach people across the Province and Birmingham. Enquirers are provided with further information and, when ready, can speak to a member of the Provincial Membership Team, led by Andy Dobbins, about their interests and the next steps towards joining.
The national and Provincial campaigns will run alongside one another, widening the number of people who encounter Freemasonry online while ensuring that each enquiry receives a helpful and personal local response.
Before the launch, Provincial Membership and Communications Officers from across the country attended an online preparation meeting. UGLE has also provided updated campaign media, guidance and support materials to help Provinces make the most of the national activity.
Digital marketing has become an increasingly important way to address outdated perceptions and show people what Freemasonry is really about: friendship, personal development, supporting communities and bringing together people who might otherwise never meet.
With Warwickshire’s campaign continuing to attract significant interest and the national campaign introducing Freemasonry to an even wider audience, the coming months provide another valuable opportunity to welcome people who are ready to learn more.
