Remembering Amelia: A Legacy of Kindness and a World Record Broken
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Amelia passed away on Wednesday 18th March 2026.
Warwickshire Royal Arch Third Provincial Grand Principal Geoff Walker said, “I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who sent cards to Amelia, whether individually or on behalf of your Lodges and Chapters. I had the privilege of delivering over 1,000 cards from Warwickshire Freemasons alone. These gestures mean a great deal to Amelia’s family, who are drawing immense strength and comfort from your tremendous support during this difficult time.
“Your collective kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.”
Geoff continued “Amelia was able to celebrate her eighth birthday surrounded by her classmates, family, and friends, who all helped her navigate the “mountain” of mail she received. I am incredibly moved to share that before her passing, Amelia achieved her final ambition: she smashed the world record by receiving over 250,000 cards.
“Once again, Warwickshire Freemasons have shown that your altruism and empathy truly reflect the core values of our organization. It makes me deeply proud to be called your Brother.”
Donations
Many Lodges have reached out to ask how they can further support the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Solving Kids’ Cancer, the organization that provided vital support to Amelia during her palliative care.
